Life of Prophet ﷺ In Madinah- (2nd year of hijrat)

          Various important incidents took place in the second year of hijrat(625 AD)


(1)Four main orders(Fasting,Zakat,Change of Qibla and the last Permission of JIHAD)
(2) The Battle of Badar

Orders
Fasting:
             Fasting in the month of Ramadan was made obligatory upon all adult muslims in the second            year of hijrat.

(ii)
Zakat:
          The payment of zakat was also made obligatory upon all rich muslims.

(iii)
Changing of Qibla:
                             Qibla is the direction were muslims turns their faces while offering prayers. In Makkah muslims used to face masjid-e-Aqsa and did they same in Madinah for over 16 months. In 2A.H while holy prophet was leading Asr prayer he was ordered to face towards the holy ka,abah
this become the religious center for muslims.

(iv)
The permission of jihad:
Jihad is a struggle way of Allah against the evil inclinations for the sake of islam and muslim Ummah.






Battle of Badar
(Causes and events)

During the first thirteen years of his mission,the holy prophet had only one enemy
to deal with in Makkah.But in Madinah he had three enemy to deal.The ansar who invited the holy prophet to Madinah. When the holy prophet learnt that the quraish were advancing towards Madinah with intention to attack,immediately he called the muslims to take the necessary step.The ansar and the muhajirin  got together to defend their selves.
                                 
                    When the battle start the holy prophet prayed for muslims to them against the enimies of islam.The prayer was accepted. Allah granted victory for the muslims. The main Quraish leader was killed like shaiba,utba,Abu jahal. When the news reached Makkah the whole town was struck with grief.

 Importance of the Battle
After the battle many unbelievers accepted islam. In the 2nd hijri the tribe of Banu Quinain broke this agreement after the battle of badar. The holy prophet took action against them and according to his decision were exiled from Madinah

Life in madinah-prophet(pbuh) 1st year of hijrat

When our prophet(pbuh) departured from Makkah to Madinah(Yasrib) so some of the events held in
Madinah.

The first important thing was that the holy prophet(pbuh)did on arriving in Madinah was to build a mosque.The land for the mosque was bought from two orphans and the holy prophet(pbuh)himself woked hard with his companions to complete the building.The mosque was know as the "mosque of prophet(pbuh) or masjid-e-al nabwi.

                        A large platform with a thatched roof.It was built in one of the corners of the mosque. This was know as Suffah.After the holy ka'abah the masjid-e-nabvi is the holiest mosque.


                                                       
                                               Azan(call for Prayers)

 The system of calling azan was introduced as suggested by hazrat Umar. Hazrat bilal  was selected for muezzin.

(a) settlement of Muhajirin 

    The muslims in Madinah belonged two categories. Those muhajirin who migrated to Madinah from Makkah were know as muhajirin. The holy prophet estabilished brotherhood between these two groups of muslims.He tolded the Ansar thar the muhajirin need help.


   (b) treaty with jews 

    There were three main tribes of jews:Banu qainuqa,Banu Nazir and Banu Quraiza.It started muslims and jews were allies and would help each other. In the case of an attack on Madinah, both muslims and jews would defend it. The treaty also estabilished the holy prophet(pbuh)as the leader and the head of the state of Madinah.



                                                               Hypocrites 
At the time of the prophet(pbuh) migrated many people of Madinah accepted islam.Among someone who did not like the success of the prophet(pbuh) mission. They are know as 'Hyprocrites' or Munafiqin in the holy Quran.

               The hyprocrites leader was abdullah bin ubbay. Abdullah bin ubbay built a mosque outside Madinah where he along with his companions. Soon after expedition Abdullah fell ill and died. With his death many of the hyprcrites repented and turned to the geniune faith.

Pakistan's Army

Pakistan Armed Forces. It came into existence after the independence of Pakistan in 1947. According to the International Institute for Strategic Studies. Pakistani Air Force and Pakistani Navy have inducted their first female pilots and sailors in 2012 see details at Women in the Pakistan Armed Forces.Since its establishment in 1947, the Army has been involved in four wars with neighbouring with India.The Pakistan Army was created on the 30th of June of the year 1947 from the division of the British Indian Army.This led to the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947. Regular Army units joined the invasion later on but were stopped after the refusal of the Chief of Army Staff, British officer General Sir Frank Messervy, to obey Pakistani leader Muhammad Ali Jinnah's orders to move the Army into Kashmir.Between 1947 and 1971, Pakistan has fought three direct conventional wars against India with the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 witnessing the seccession of East-Pakistan as independent Bangladesh.

Troop strength

As of 2010 estimations by national and international bodies, approximately 617,000 people were on active duty in the military, with an additional 420,000 serving in paramilitary forces and 513,000 in reserve. It is an all volunteer military, but conscription can be enacted at the request of the President with the approval of the parliament of Pakistan. The military is the seventh largest in the world and has a large number of troops deployed around the globe in military assistance and peacekeeping operations.
China's relationship with Pakistan holds great importance for both countries in terms of common interest and geopolitical strategy. The alliance was initially formed to counter the regional influence and military threat posed by India and the Soviet Union. In recent years the friendship has deepened further; China and Pakistan have signed several mutual defense treaties.
China has been a steady source of military equipment and has cooperated with Pakistan in setting up weapons production and modernization facilities.
